With just 16 rooms and 2 holiday apartments, our hotel is lovely and small – so that all our guests truly feel at home here. We know your name, your favourite spot on the terrace, and how you like your coffee. And when you return from a day in the mountains, you can look forward to experiencing life in the countryside in a welcoming atmosphere – with wonderfully rustic traditional parlours, a sauna with a barn view, a pool, a forest playground, and delicious home-style cuisine prepared by manager Gerhard with products from the farm and the region.
What makes our hotel in Lüsen so special is not only the cosy farm flair, the breathtaking panoramic view, or the many great features for families with children. What makes our Lüsen accommodation stand out is the people behind it. We, the Hinteregger family, have managed our hotel in Lüsen with passion and dedication for many years –Franz, Anni, Gerhard, and Petra, with the kids lending a helping hand. Each of us has a role, but we have one thing in common: we want you to feel completely at home here with us and hope that your holiday is both beautiful and unforgettable.
Around Hotel Kompatscherhof, you will enjoy wonderful views of sunny Alpine meadows, lush green forests, and majestic mountain peaks. The unspoilt landscapes of picturesque Lüsner Alm, the second-largest Alpine pasture in Europe after the Seiser Alm, is located not far from our hotel in Lüsen. That’s right, with us, you can start your excursions right from our doorstep – whether on foot, by bike, with a toboggan, skis, or snowshoes!

We serve milk from the Schneider Hof farm next door, eggs, vegetables, herbs, beef, and veal from local farms, as well as homemade cheese and yoghurt, game from local hunters, and more.
