In winter, you can look forward to snow-white meadows and forests, fresh mountain air, and an unforgettable view overlooking Lüsen. Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and winter hiking – with us, the possibilities are endless. Start your winter hike through the surrounding forests just outside your door. Follow the well-signposted paths or join us on a guided snowshoe hike to the Lüsner or Rodenecker Alm Alpine pastures including a stop at one of the many managed huts. The in-house rental of snowshoes, poles, and toboggans is free of charge for our guests.
Tip: Combine a hike across the Alpine pastures with a fun tobogganing ride! Fun fact: In Lüsen, you will find a total of four toboggan runs with unforgettable views, including the 1,150-metre World Cup track in the valley.
Those who want to ski in Lüsen will find a practice slope in the village. Ski rental, ski instructors, a children’s adventure world with a magic carpet, and many other highlights for skiing holidaymakers staying on a farm are offered by the ski area Lüsen. Skiing at its best awaits you in the Plose ski area, just a short drive away from your accommodation. The shuttle bus takes you from Luson city directly to Plose, Brixen’s local mountain, which impresses with its 43 kilometres of slopes. At an elevation of up to 2,500 metres, modern lifts, a fun park with half-pipe and jumps, as well as a children’s area including care for children three and older, await you.
Cross-country skiing fans will find what they are looking for here. In Lüsen, you can discover 50 cross-country trail kilometres, on the Lüsner Alm trail (7.5 km), on the Lüsner Panorama trail (15 km) or also on the circuit trail in the valley (5 km), which is lit up one evening per week.
