In winter, you can look forward to snow-white meadows and forests, fresh mountain air, and an unforgettable view overlooking Lüsen, South Tyrol. Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and winter hiking – with us, the possibilities are endless. Start your winter hike through the surrounding forests just outside your door. Follow the well-signposted paths or join us on a guided snowshoe hike to the Lüsner or Rodenecker Alm Alpine pastures including a stop at one of the many managed huts. The in-house rental of snowshoes, poles, and toboggans is free of charge for our guests.

Those who want to ski nearby will find a practice slope in the village. Ski rental, ski instructors, a children’s adventure world with a magic carpet, and many other highlights for skiing holidaymakers staying on a farm are offered by the Lüsen ski area. South Tyrol skiing at its best awaits you in the Plose ski area, just a short drive away from your accommodation, around 16 kilometres. The free ski bus takes you directly from Lüsen village to Plose, Brixen’s local mountain, which impresses with its 43 kilometres of slopes. At an elevation of up to 2,500 metres, modern lifts, a fun park with half-pipe and jumps, as well as a children’s area including care for children three and older, await you.

Cross-country skiing fans will find what they are looking for in South Tyrol in winter. In Lüsen, you can discover 50 cross-country trail kilometres, on the Lüsner Alm trail (7.5 km), on the Lüsner Panorama trail (15 km) or also on the circuit trail in the valley (5 km), which is lit up one evening per week.
